Our first release in our Basement No. 2 series co-developed was by Sub:lvl Artist Daitek to showcase the in between sounds of electronic music. While Sub:lvl Audio has always maintained an across the board feel in terms of music genres, We would like to focus our attention to leaving all Sub:lvl Catalog #'s to strict genres of Drum n' Bass and Hip-hop. If anything falls in between that spectrum it will be released on Sub:lvl Audio but inside the Basement No. 2 continuous series.

The Lovelorn EP is a deep 2-step excursion into dreamy audio landscapes that carries a proportionate contrast between light and dark moods. The six track ep showcases Cincinnati based producer Daitek's approach to creating projects with concept and finalization. With emotional features from one to watch Drum n' Bass producer, Foken on "Not The Only One" and fellow Ohio resident Voidstar on the project, Daitek has squeezed a tremendous amount of beauty into the Lovelorn EP. To many fans of the genre, the sound may carry similarities or even trigger nostalgia to classic breakthrough 2-step fusions but stands alone as a classic in it's own right.
