X-Zero is a name that has been synonymous with quality bass music for over a Decade. In our opinion the guy can do no wrong and has truly reached grand master level with his production and we believe the "Blue Shift EP" is a solid offering from the exceptional producer. "Tibetan Dawn" introduces you to the ep with a break away from the norm, literally. The genius infusion of the Orient and phat Breakbeats create a pleasant and uplifting listening experience. "Coolio" eases us into the body of the ep with a bouncy and relentless edge. "Need your love" our selected favorite on the project, is a respectable and mature sound that is easy to spot upon first listen. Finally, "Blue Shift" rounds out the ep and stands solid with eerie atmospherics and firm bass tones that are arguably reminiscent of that classic 1999 tech-step sound, refined for our time. Solid tunes all around and an excellent addition to your collection.
